Delhi Ambedkar University (AUD) is based on the life and ideas of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, and is committed to developing himself as a single entity committed to its students with an innovative spirit and dedicated to develop meaningful solutions for education, learning and generate knowledge that contributes to the cause of equality and social justice and the promotion of excellence.
The University is located temporarily on the campus of the Institute of Integrated Technology, Sector 9, Dwarka, New Delhi. The university library, computer lab, conference room, classrooms and office space being created in the temporary location. The hostel is also created, albeit with limited capacity initially, in a temporary campus in Dwarka. This is one of the famous colleges in New Delhi.
It is proposed that the University operates through its various schools and centers. These schools are the School of Graduate Studies School of Development Studies, School of Human Ecology, School of human studies, School of Culture and Creative Expressions School of Design, School of Business, Public Policy and Social Entrepreneurship School of Educational Studies , Faculty of Law, Governance and Citizenship and the School of Liberal Studies. Several post-graduate diploma, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees are offered through these schools. This is one of the prestigious universities of India.
The AUD also plans to open centers for research, training and documentation. All these centers operate in a mode of project and partner with the University academic and research program.
